I had a rather strange dream last night. The thing is, I had this very same dream about 3 or 4 times before..

I opened my eyes and all I could see was white. There was some gigantic light in front of me and I couldn't see anything, only white. Little by little, my vision started to get used to that light (which I still didn't know what it was) and I could see some shades and indefinite shapes. But they were really vague... I couldn't quite comprehend what they were. And also, they were moving. They came from under me and went up with incredible speed. Behind them, I could see some sort of blue wall. After some time, I realized I was laying in something that made a funny noise... like a car engine. But I was confused. I didn't know where I was, when I was, I almost didn't know who I was. But now I could see that the shapes that passed in front of me were clouds and the "blue wall" behind them was the sky. After a short battle, I was able to stand up and I could finally see where I was. I was in a motorboat, in the middle of a big-ass sea and in front of the boat, an eternity away, there was a wall of rocks, going from left to right as far as the eye can see.

I started to ask myself "What the hell...?" and walk around the boat. I tried to control it, but the controls didn't work. It kept going forward like the devil was chasing it. I remember thinking I could try to jump in the water, but for what? So I could spend the rest of my life swimming without knowing where I was headed? No, thanks.

Minutes passed. Hours passed. I swear to baby Jesus, it felt like years had passed. But then, all of a sudden, the wall of rocks came to me, as if the boat was magically teleported to it.

I started to see everything in slow motion. First it's bow was completely destroyed by the rocks. Then the controls. The chairs. Now I'm up. It's my turn to be swallowed by the rocks.

I hit them hard. My body was thrown mercilessly, and I felt every bone in my body brake with the impact. But it didn't hurt. I just started to fall in the water and as my feet touched it, I felt it was warm. Comforting. After a few seconds I was completely submerged and I knew what was going to happen. I was dying. But i felt no pain, no regrets, no desperation. Only some kind of peace, if that's possible. And then, just as that white light consumed me when I opened my eyes, darkness came and I was no more.

And then I opened my eyes and all I could see was white. Again.

All over again.

I swear I didn't smoke any joint last night.

Anyone have any Stephen King dreams? (G rated)

I remember having a very vivid dream about him a few years ago...

I was in a village somewhere...all cobblestone and stores with those pretty, wooden signs that used to hang from chains above the store front. I was following a boy up the street who I had recognized from grade school but when I got within an arm's length he turned to look at me over his shoulder then raised his left pointer finger to his lips, "Shhhhhhh...... follow but don't tell!" Then he vanished in to the dark doorway of a shoppe. When I turned the corner to follow, there was no doorway at all....only a wall. I continued up the street....confused....... just floating aimlessly.....looking for the beautiful boy that I knew as a child.

When I finally came to a halt on the cobblestones, I heard a sharp rapping to my right..... I looked up at the window and it was Stephen King. He was wearing blue jeans and what looked like a grateful dead t-shirt.... a laughing skull with a wreath of roses on the crown. I could see his lips moving on the other side of the glass but couldn't hear what he was saying. I pressed against the glass.... but then suddenly felt someone catch my left arm and turn me. He had materialized beside me on the sidewalk. "Don't follow ghosts, Lil.... they'll find you soon enough on their own."

I woke up.

Better than the one I had where he was hiding from me in the kitchen of a diner.

I dreamed I was trying to comfort this little girl who has hallucinating - she kept making mundane objects be crazy - like a bunch of threads became a spider, and other such things. I walk her home and discover her mother is rocking a dead infant. Troubling, terrible dream.
That would be enough to wake you out of a sound sleep.

I dreamt that Becky brought home this huge blue snake...it's head was the size of a cat. It was slithering around the top of the cupboards and then killed two people. I thought it had eaten Becky but I found her asleep in a fully zipped sleeping bag. What a fricken nightmare this was.
