I had my vampire dream again....I have it often and it is a treat, even though it scares me half to death. I was in this old Victorian house in a bedroom with my friend. We were scared and it was dark. I had my trusty water gun with me....a childs toy with Holy water in it....it was one of the big guns. We saw a shadow flit past the doorway in the hall and I tried to reach my gun by the side of the bed but it seemed like I was half paralyzed. My hand was moving in slow motion. Then I woke up.

I had two cellphones that were ringing at the same time. I answered the left one first. Turned out it was an important call, after all. But I was curious about that other call, and I answered that, as well. That turned out to be a wrong number. As I switched back to the original caller, I found out the caller had hung up.
At that point I woke up. My smartphone was vibrating, and I answered. No tone, then I realized it was the alarm.

I didn't sleep well at all last night - one of those nights just staring at the clock so I didn't get a chance to dream. I do have some doozies though. I really should keep a book by my bed, cause some of them are like movies. Who knows? Maybe I've got a best seller in my head, and just don't realize it.

Yay! I love dreams. I am a prolific dreamer and I usually remember at least one dream every morning. Last night I dreamed that I was assigned by "I don't know whom" to translate a page of Amazon things on sale from Russian into English. I told whomever that I didn't speak Russian and they said, yes you do, you just don't know it. I said OK then I guess I do, then I did! When I first woke up from the dream I was really impressed with myself that all the sudden I could speak Russian.... then I realized I didn't... черт побери.

I dreamed about a friend.....
I don't like telling about when I dream about people that I know....sometimes they come true, and it bothers me.
I know what you mean. I was having a series of dreams about a friend of mine about a year ago. I told her about them and at first she wrote it off as her beloved quirky friend Patricia, being quirky. Then the things started happening. She is in a very bad place right now and that breaks my heart. I wish I could have helped her make different decisions in her life, but one does what one can.
I have come to a point in my life where I don't care what people think about my "oddness" so I tend to let my freak flag fly, that's just me and my comfort zone, I'm not telling others how to behave.
About 10 years ago or so I dreamed a friend of mine was killed and I didn't tell them because I thought they would think I was weird, and then they died almost exactly as I had dreamed and that bothered me so bad that now I don't care if they think I am weird or not. I am weird and that's ok. One plays the cards they are dealt... I just got weird cards.

I do have a recurring dream every so often, maybe like once a year where I'm in the driveway at the house my mom and step-dad had when I was in elementary school. I'm in front of the garage kickin around with my Skip-It Skip-It - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia, and on one of my leaps, I fly up in the air, and I'm floating up there at tree-top level, but I can't get down. I'm fraid of heights, so it gives me a sick feeling in my stomach and my legs feel all wobbly. :wha: Been having it since I was in middle school. Prolly stress related.
