Thanks Hunter!!!! I'm heading over to the link now!!Here's a free Halloween treat from Robert McCammon!
A Halloween Treat from Robert McCammon: "Night Ride"
It's a free, new Matthew Corbett story! Available to read on the website or to download in AZW3 (Kindle), MOBI, EPUB (NOOK), and PDF formats!
I think McCammon's The Five is his best work. The FiveThanks! I've read three McCammon books so far and my favorite is Swan Song.
Thats a good one. In original its named 1793 after the year it takes place. Its kinda important because its the year after the King Gustav III was assassinated while watching an opera and the investigarion revealed high nobles behind the deed. When this takes place suspicion is still high in Stockholm. The Natt och Dag is an old noble name that has survived until this day. Means simply Night and Day.I posted on the general book thread but there is a new book from a Swedish author that reminds me a bit of the Corbett series. It might fill the bill until Cardinal Black is available: "The Wolf and the Watchman" by the impressively named Niklas Natt och Dag.
The Wolf and the Watchman
Thanks Hunter! I do have Wicked Shots pre-ordered so looking forward to checking out those stories. He's still working on The King of Shadows. He took some time away from it to do the stories for The Little Amber Book of Wicked Shots for Borderlands Press, but he's hard at work on it. We had originally hoped it would be published around Halloween, but for a variety of reasons, it'll be Spring 2021 before it's published.
We'll see what it ends up being, but he told me it was going to be another thick book. I think it's going to end up a much longer book than he originally expected it to be.
