I wasn't a fan of Star Trek, but everyone knew who Spock was.

A favorite moment alright. My favorite scene ever from The Big Bang Theory...
Painful. Simply painful. And the coolest (and most hilarious) moment from Start Trek, IMO. Spock jams with space hippies! Groovy, man.
I believe the word you were looking for is "awesome".Painful. Simply painful.
I've never seen this before..And also, thank you for this Nimoy. Hilariously awesome!!!
That scene was okay. I just remember that episode being my least favorite, it was so inaccurate, so cheesy.I believe the word you were looking for is "awesome".
I am a serious Star Trek (original TV series) fan, and feel that Spock was an entirely new kind of modern (at the time) TV character. Later on in life I became a major Sherlock Holmes fan and when watching Star Trek reruns noted that Spock seemed to me based on Sherlock Holmes, and even used Holmes' most famous phrases. Conan Doyle used them to remind readers that Holmes was a super-intellectual, alien to this world in his way, and Spock made them iconic. The comments "incredible", "fascinating", and "that is illogical" can't be uttered or seen in print without causing someone to think of Spock. This was my favorite thing about Spock, and he became one of my favorite TV characters of all-time.
R.I.P. Leonard Nimoy, Mr Spock.
