I like it when it is summer time and i can sit outside with my friends until after dark & have a cookout & party.

Okay, so I did it on the motorcycle twice. Sssshhh. Don't tell Grandma.

Lovely thread. And I agree with Blunt and everyone else about this place. It's like slipping on a favourite pair of slippers and sitting by the fire. Genuine warmth. Asides from that what else makes me happy is...... Driving the Mustang with the roof down. Hot summer evenings, when on holiday. When you've been out in the sun, had a shower, gone out for something to eat and you are still warm and you know that sun is going to shine again tomorrow. And meat. Bloody steaks. Makes me very happy 
Hugging my kids (20 YO is a special treat--he's never been a hugger, so when he allows it.... )

re-reading an old favorite
puttering in my garden
finding new music to love
when I get in the writing groove, and I know a sentence or passage is EXACTLY RIGHT--gives me chills

I like being not at work. Reading posts on this board when I'm not at work is very enjoyable. I like knowing there are other people who think a kind word to another member or a goofy post makes a the day a bit better.
My first thought about things I like: The day off. Next thing, thunderstorms, then a healthy rose bush, watching the birds at the feeders, especially the bluebirds.
As Blunthead and everyone else said. This is the place I like best, this is my good time. If I have a bad day I log in here and read some posts and
my bad day become a good day, thanks for that my friends. Believe it or not, but if something special have happened some days or in my life, I always
tell it to you first before I tell it to my parents. This is the best and most caring site ever. And of course let us not forget Mr King without him there
