As Blunthead and everyone else said. This is the place I like best, this is my good time. If I have a bad day I log in here and read some posts and
my bad day become a good day, thanks for that my friends. Believe it or not, but if something special have happened some days or in my life, I always
tell it to you first before I tell it to my parents. This is the best and most caring site ever. And of course let us not forget Mr King without him there
wouldn't be any site like this. A big thanks to Ms Mod and all other moderators too.
I must go a step further, though. In my case the site is more than a comfortable cyber-place to hang with friends. I'm an obvious addict, here and in other areas potentially, and must exercise self-control in order to maintain a reasonable balance in life. So, recently I've tried to adopt a plan wherein I'm online, anywhere at all, only X-number of minutes before having to do something else. Lately the something has been fairly time consuming and not a mere, tedious chore, so a healthy amount of my life I'm finding myself not necessarily butt-flattening. But at the end of the day I always return here first in terms of online activity, as here is it not only better than everywhere else, it's great.

120 mph in my latest car, then slowing so I wouldn't go to jail if someone was timing.
120 mph on the latest motorcycle, then slowing so I wouldn't go to jail if someone was timing.
Okay, so I did it on the motorcycle twice. Sssshhh. Don't tell Grandma.

I did over 150 on a NASCAR track in an honest-to-goodness NASCAR car. It was
so
much
fun

(This is the car I drove. In staying true to the thread, it was a moment of Good Times.)

...in one way or another-you have all stated how I feel...I like it when I can roll in from work...flip open the lap-top and check on my other family...despite my flippancy, goofiness and occasional churlishness-this Board is sacred to me...I have made better friends here, than most any other time in my life...there is a connection here, that if I don't "tune in" on a regular basis-I start getting actual withdrawal symptoms...this group means that much to me....and I like dreaming of spreading chunky peanut butter on Danie...

It was a program where a group of us signed on to do a NASCAR thing. We each got to drive a race car (hey! a palindrome!) and were chaperoned by a mechanic sitting on the passenger side who coached us through. Mine briefed me on hand signals, because the doggone things are way too loud to hear each other when you're inside. I think there were about five of us on the track at the time.

And I did over 150 because... I could! :D

...yeah, those programs are cool...being in radio for so many years, I've gotten to ride in a Monster Truck, float along in a blimp, fly with the Army's Golden Knights and meet Tiny Tim....(among other life-changing events)....
