Yes, I would want to be able to fly only if it were as effortless as Superman has it.
Since he can do it because of the yellow sun, it must be solar power......

Wait, he can fly at night too. Dang.

They guy I liked was J'on J'onzz (spelling approximate, and don't ask me about pronunciation). He had superstrength and could fly and was invulnerable (except to fire) and could walk through walls and be invisible and be a shapeshifter. Of course, for this thread's purposes, that's more than one power.

Since there is alot of superhero movies coming out this summer (which i happen to think are really awesome) I thought i would make this thread. So if you could have one superpower what would it be and why? I look forward to seeing what everyone says.:emmersed:

I wil say my answer in in a minute.
Can a Mod please fix the title? Call me obsessive compulsive but it should read This should be an entertaining thread (Sorry Riot87) I type all day and correct the grammar of all the doctors who dictate so I notice these little things!

I should not say all the doctors - just the ones that I happen to get to listen to!

edit: Can I pick a new superpower - I would somehow fix my son's cognitive challenge so he could be more employable and get a job as a mechanic (which he has always wanted to do).

So to answer the question if I could have a superpower -
original idea: to time travel (back in time) and be invisible, as long as I could get back to where I started!

Good one! I'd fix my son's vision - it's going to hinder him in life. And I'd fix my oldest daughter's attitude, and my youngest as well. And I'd stay in college until I got some kind of degree and, and and. It would be hard to stop once you got started changing things. And there'd be the yellow card man trying to make you stop. It'd be anarchy!

The Healer. Now, I know everyone can't live forever. The Earth can't support everyone, but, why can't everyone just be really healthy and whole until their very last day? When it's time, they just peacefully go to sleep and not wake up. No illness, no pain, no handicap, just time to go.

And I'm not trying to usurp God's gig, but let's face it, he's allowing too much suffering.
When would it be "time" then? By the way, that would be my choice, too hands down. I wouldn't have thought of it, though. I was thinking the ability to fly.

Not my decision when everyone's day would be. It would just be hardwired into us. When our time comes, it comes. Just like it does now. Just minus the handicaps, illnesses and pain.

Time travel I think would be my first choice. There are so many mysteries over the course of human history I'd love to see. Not to affect the outcomes, I'd just like to be invisible and watch. The lost colony of Roanoke, Jack the Ripper, JFK, I'd spend eternity being voyeuristic.......
