Since there is alot of superhero movies coming out this summer (which i happen to think are really awesome) I thought i would make this thread. So if you could have one superpower what would it be and why? I look forward to seeing what everyone says.

The Healer. Now, I know everyone can't live forever. The Earth can't support everyone, but, why can't everyone just be really healthy and whole until their very last day? When it's time, they just peacefully go to sleep and not wake up. No illness, no pain, no handicap, just time to go.

Perfect choice, Dana Jean. I'll join you in the desire to have the power of healing. Way too much illness, suffering and pain in the world today. Maybe throw in a little regeneration( Doctor Who style)?

Don't be too sure of the villain part. Sounds to me like you have discovered a way to end the drought in CA.

Yea id probably be a villain as well because i'm not the type of gal to hold back like Charlie McGee did. Anyways i would want to have the same ability as Jean Gray does from X men she can do whatever she can think of i would be unstoppable.

In real life I pretend to be a superhero...local superhero...but I don't run around in tights and cape. Blue jeans or brown...green...tee-shirts. I even have a website...job-related and I'd prefer not to promote that anymore than saying I've had a blast doing some radio commercials. Amazing what they can do in the sound booth. Look! Up on the scaffolding! Did one commercial that was a take-off on the Heikki Lunta snow-dance song, only I changed it to my kinda work...and this guy comes over to my truck in the Walmart parking lot this once and says he's out cutting firewood and he'd heard my song...couldn't get it out of his head. A good thing I figure. So...I'd like to be in demand. Job-security...that'd be good. Never have to worry about the next job. Or wait now...naw...I don't want that. Let me think on it.

I think it'd be cool to be able to "jaunte" as some have portrayed in stories...Alred Bester in The Stars My Destination. And have good teeth. The kind that sparkle? Camera pans your face and you get that starlight sparkle? That'd be cool. Perfect teeth. Great big sharp chompers. I could run for Congress. Make a pig commercial. Maybe combine the two superpowers...Super Congress Critter! Naw, we'd want folk to take us seriously. You ever see those pictures of guys posing way back when? They'd have their hands on their hips in that manly pose? Superman does that, hey? Teeth sparkling...cape flowing...but I'd need a good name...Super! Neo-Con Man! Naw...that wouldn't work. I dunno, I can't think of good name...but that'd be it...ability to jaunte and sparkly teeth.
