Obviously everyone here is a King fan but, who else do you really dig?
For me, it's Robert Heinlein, Isaac Asimov, Ursula K. LeGuinn, Poul Anderson, Greg Bear, Michael Chricton, Tom Robbins, Tolkein, George MacDonald, Charles Williams, Robert Jordan, Kurt Vonnegut Jr., John Steinbeck, and even some Tom Clancy and Dean Koontz. That last may be blasphemy here so fire away if you feel the need.
I guess it's fairly clear that I'm kinda heavy on the sci-fi side but, I do enjoy good satire, military fiction, and some good drama, history, and biographies here and there. I could keep listing more good authors for awhile but I suppose those will suffice to represent my overall tastes.
So, tell me what you dig! Turn some people on to new stuff!
