Saw Rush on their Roll the Bones tour, they used the rabbits out of the hats from the Presto tour during Tom Sawyer ... place went nuts. Every bit as intense as in Metallica's And Justice For All tour where the statue of liberty collapses in the background I wanna saying during One but maybe it was during And Justice For All ... years ago .. 1989 for the Metallica, (again twice in '91 for the Black Album tour) and 1991 for the Rush. Primus opened for Rush and the Cult for Metallica. Metallica didn't have any opening acts for the Black Album tour ....

My daughter was born that year. So I missed it. After 1997, many of the big name bands - Rush and Metallica included - went to the "Evening with" format, with a 3 hour show w/intermission. I'm amazed those old guys can still stand for that long, much less wear heavy guitars. :D

They're gettin' a little long in the tooth now, but even then both Rush and Metallica were maximum slammin' with every ounce of energy and stamina they could throw to the hungry crowd ..... speaking of old men tho, I must now go nite nite myself, see yas later Tery!

People always complain about fans filming shows with their phones. I went to a Cake show once and the leadsinger actually stopped the show and refused to continue if people did'nt stop filming. i love filming people at concerts, they give us Youtube clips like this.

Much better than official DVD releases...:)
