No, the film is great. I prefer the book, as it is far more detailed and in-depth, but then books and films are such different mediums.
I love the film too, it captures the main characters brilliantly. I would have liked to have seen more of Arnie's parents and more of Leigh
and Arnie, more of the Le Bay storyline too, but it's still good. On a daytrip the other day, visited an op shop and picked up a first edition hardback copy for a mere three dollars. Thanks lil town of Warkworth. By the way, I would love to own a 58 Plymouth Fury rather than my trusty but gas guzzling VW Golf, in midnight black!! Just another ordinary hunk of junk.
