Yeah, it was about 3 weeks, of asking myself "Where is everybody?" before I asked Flake. There he is!
I feel like an alzheimers patient. I've returned to a place I have no memory of. Thank you for the welcome. Much like Dorothy, I recognize all the people but the wallpaper is different...Welcome back!!
Im about to buy a copy of The Shining. :3 Its the one Ive wanted for so so long . I know it might be breaking the Stephen King law to absolutely love the movie, but I just did. In fact, I should pay respect to it lul if I didnt watch that movie (that is actually more than a year from now) I wouldve never become I King fan in the first place. So this is the picture on the copy :3, because Im a picky little bastard:
8 pages of scene from the film!
Great find! How much is 50p in US dollars? I'm too lazy to google.just bought Needful Things hardback for 50p
You know, I think the great thing about this movie is that it brought a lot of curious people over to the reading side of Stephen King. If you only ever watched The Shining, Carrie, Cujo, etc., you don't get the whole picture. But if it sparks your curiosity enough that you want to read the book, then welcome to the wonderful world of King.Im about to buy a copy of The Shining. :3 Its the one Ive wanted for so so long . wow!I reckon it's less than 50 cents....
Lul Of Course! Its a horrible interpretation of the book. If anyone thinks it's a good one, they are not a true King fan.I don't think there's anything wrong with liking Kubrick's movie, as long as you like it as a movie and not as an interpretation of the book. I like it as a movie also, but it is NOT a valid interpretation of King's work--it's Kubrick's interpretation.
John
