I don't cook Friday. Everyone fends for themselves. Because boy is at Scout Camp tonight (in a hall, thankfully!), so far tonight dinner has consisted of 2 cans of John Smiths Extra Smooth, 2 toasted crumpets with butter and marmite and a door step ham/mayo/Naga chilli sauce toasted sandwich. :)
That's my philosophy - "No Cook Friday"! Tell me - what is John Smiths Extra Smooth?

Bitter, Holly, in a can. Not a "real" real ale but it was what was kicking about :)
Ah - here I was thinking it was some kind of meat in a can that you pour over something.

Tonight I want to make something special - like party food - so we can eat in front of the TV and watch the Olympics - appetizers for dinner!

Tonight, well I haven't decided. Something simple to fix.

I love simple :) I try to plan a week in advance--it keeps me from going crazy at the supermarket and keeps food costs down. Weekday meals are usually something that takes 30 mins or less (45, tops, and that not often), unless it's a slow cooker thing. Weekends might be something more time-costly.

My son is well trained, if I pick him up from school aftercare, he know that means my wife is working afternoon shift at the hospital. Once we're in the truck, he'll ask "So which restaurant we going to for supper?"....wise a$$ kid......
