hello new to the bord, am reading dead zone and am wondering what the UFO people are, I should also mention I am 35 and female. Also am finding the generation gap a bit hard, but love the book so much

Sorry, I can't tell you what King knows or doesn't know, haha. I will say that there were many strange cults that popped up in the 1950s that played off of people's fears of 'outsiders' and UFOs. There were many movies about this subject at that time, too.Oh o.k. Yes that makes scense. Did king make up the term UFO people, where their people in the 1979's that believed they whould be taken away by ufo's.
