The Dead Zone is one of my favorites. I'm a much bigger King fan of his earlier work. This story imo, was also one of the few King books that transfered well to the big screen.
Yes it was.
....with the exception of George C. Scott as Rainbird.....he's a great actor-but not one that automatically conjures up the tag Native American.....Personally, I think anyone that likes the Dead Zone would also like Firestarter.
Really? Definitely early era King. Idk, maybe I should give Firestarter another go. Haven't read it since it came out! Have seen the movie a couple times. Wasn't impressed.Personally, I think anyone that likes the Dead Zone would also like Firestarter.

Welcome, Sheldon. Both of those are great novels and The Dead Zone, in particular, is packed with alot of story. King is a virtuoso with newer books, too, like Duma Key and Bag of Bones. He knows how to weave all the threads together. On of the best books, and movies as well.
What a moment it was when Johnny found that he was fall asleep for 4 years.
Still prefer SK books like Firestarter! View attachment 25801
