When construction or digging is going to happen, it's prudent to have a guy come out and mark the underground lines so you don't run a dozer blade or a trencher or something through a gas pipe.

Of course, if the guy comes out going, "Okay, George, I'll mark the lines," and marks them on snow which is going to be melted by midafternoon that day, Im' not sure what good it does.

I was just thinking about this old friend today, and I would dearly love to know the answer to this mystery.

He moved to our tiny town sophomore year, and soon was part of our circle of friends. We hung out all the time and one of my best friends dated him through high school and first year of college. His parents were quiet and unassuming but not recluses. Our big graduation party was held at his house.

Catching up with my girlfriend a couple years back, she tells me that he and his family were not from Canada, like they had told us. And that he had been found somewhere on the east coast and deported somewhere overseas, and that his name wasn't even his name! She didn't know about his sister and parents. I would like to know what that was all about, and why their whole lives were a fabrication. Some kind of witness protection thing? Running from something? Very strange, and none of us had a clue. o_O

wellll.... but as I remember, the Saturn was made in Tennessee.

Maybe the moonshine?
I cannot even recall why I wrote this now. I thought it was something about Mexican workmanship and ripping part of a building back down to put the wiring in.... :hmm: (yup - could be Alzheimer's!)

More like Some-of-the-timers. Alas, I suffer also.....

Not to make light of a grave disease...
But in the case of you two-the upswing might be that you'll get to hide your own Easter eggs this year!! ;)
