It would be nice to know what SK has to say about Dario Argento's classic. Other's are more than welcome to contribute too (it's very unlikely that SK will comment this here anyway). The movie has some disturbing scenes, the plot has its flaws but on the other hand the Goblin soundtrack is great and it is a very personal movie for the Argento. It even includes the famous dream scene from Darios dream. I am also a big fan of Jennifer Connelly and I think that she just about nails the role. I have heard differing opinions too, though.
I have one small favor to ask. I do know that the movie is not perfect but if you have nothing nice to say please don't say anything at all. I'm pretty sure that life is too short to comment things you utterly hate and in a negative tone as it will just make everybody feel miserable. After all this I have to confess that it is the movie I will never get tired to. I often catch myself watching it if I have nothing better to do. I also really love the ending where good conquers evil. Some of the things seen in the movie reminds my own very unlikely hardships at an early age. So, in a way it is a very personal movie for me too.
