Please wish for me that our rental house sells quickly and well. I do not want to be a landlord anymore. I'm ready to cash out and have a decent little starter home for someone.

First day of Easter/spring break for the kids. Finally! They need a break. Not a one of them slept in this morning! Too much fun to be had, I guess.

I hear you on that! Had 2 rental houses that I got rid of after only a couple years as it wasn't worth the aggravation of dealing with tenants. Was fortunate that it was a good real estate market at the time and made money on the deals. You could always do the burying a statue of St. Joseph in the front yard of the property to help with getting a sale trick. They even have a handy dandy St. Joseph home sale kit at this site.
Have never done it myself but my mother swears by it. I am somewhat suspicious that she might have a vested interest in perpetuating the old wives tale, though, as she owns a concrete statuary business and just happens to have statues of St. Joseph in her inventory.
DD#2 is going to our ComiCon FanX today (she won a 3 day pass) and I'm both green with envy and white with worry (So I guess I'm a Limey 
) It's the first time she's going to a big event without either parent. Today she's with her friend's parents, but the next two days she's taking the train into the city with a different friend. I remember going to rock concerts with just a friend when I was her age, but I felt so much older than I think she is (lol). I'll be biting my knuckles until she walks in the door at 8 or 9 tonight.
I think my poor characters will be stranded mid scene until the weekend is over--lol.

They are playing the Immigrant Song on WKIT (Stephen King's Rock Station) out of Maine. I have my noise cancelling headphones on (cordless) that I normally use for work.
Son and GF are sitting on the couch watching Eclipse (from the Twilight series) - I know, I know, - they are so young though and don't know any better. Thus - Mom has to wear a set of headphones to block out the movie.
That is the problem with having an "open concept" house!

Thanks for thinking of me Neesy, and I'm pleased that you had a little Led to brighten your evening.
Our entire music collection is on our I-Pods, which we have on "shuffle play" during meal times.
So we get the soundtrack to our lives sampled on a daily basis, isn't technology wonderful.
