hopefully it will all calm down soon. I think the older our children get,the more we worry and stress.
Ha - yes - who knew those days of constant crying and nursing and teething and spitting up would be the best days? My mom actually told me that. When I'd feel all mired in the trenches, she'd say - but this is the best part. I hate it when she's right.

Except "oh mom, how am I going to pay my May rent on my new condo?"

"Hm. That is a poser. Let me know when you figure it out. Hope you can do it." *mic drop* *walk out of the room*

Sympathy for you on the schedule. Our only nights at home this week are Tuesday and Wed (thank goodness our penance service was last Mon!)

Be strong, my friend!

A bit cold here this morning.Sleet some snowflakes. got plenty to do this morning . yesterday,my son and I had our teeth cleaned. The dentist said he needed another appointment to get a baby tooth pulled. Cause his adult tooth was growing in already and a little off because needed to be where the baby tooth is. Ok we get home I show my son which tooth it is and i tell him it needs to come out and he should be moving it a bit as its loose. He looks at me and says like this and hands me his tooth. So canceled that next appointment. LOL Everyone have a great day.

#1 Son did that when he was about 11. He didn't like to pull baby teeth & at his 6 mo check up, he had shark mouth--baby and adult teeth together, something like 8 of them (all of his back teeth). Dentist told him if they weren't all out by Thanksgiving (later in the month), he'd pull them. Son got them all out & had a T-giving day of soft foods--no chewers for the tougher stuff :)

That went well for your sons baby tooth Linda. Do you wanna hear another super story when I was a kiddo and how one of my baby tooth loosen.
My parents had two big dogs when I was a little kid. One was a rottweiler and the other one a black lab. Well I had put a rope on the dog's collar and
the other side of the rope in my mouth (don't ask me why I did that) anyway, suddenly the dog started to run and I the rope in the mouth after. When
I finally let the rope go, a baby tooth came out at the same time. So the dog helped me to loose my baby tooth.

Want to wish everyone a great Tuesday!! Been another busy day even if I am still off from work. Payday today. So had to do some errands.
I bought new scissors today and when I came home and started to use them, I saw that they was meant for left handed, perfect for me, I am left handed.
In the store I didn't notice they was for left handed I just took them. What a coincidence.

Hope all is have a good day. Take care of you and be well.

((((all in need or not))))

Hard to believe the dentist did not realize it was THAT loose! (Your son just saved you an extra dentist bill - good for him!)

You must be ambidextrous if you don't actually go looking for left-handed scissors Jojo87? My Dad was so thrifty he never wanted to take the kids to the dentist (yeah, I know - a bit extreme, eh?).

He used to do the trick with the string around the tooth and then he said you tie the other end to a door and then slam the door. Oy vey - I think we were living in the Dark Ages in the 60s.

Have you ever heard of Jiffy Toothache Drops - it was a bottle of oil of cloves and little cotton balls you would place on a sore tooth (rather than going to the dentist).
My brother said it was amazing that we all ended up with good teeth! (Must have been all that canned evaporated milk my Dad bought by the case!) :m_thinking:
