See you over in the Song Game morgan - I can only stay on here for about 15 more minutes then I have to go get some sleep - I am going to catch up on the sleep I missed for the last week (insomnia).I agree! I was just talking about this recently-some authors seem to jerk back and forth, almost as if they forgot something and inserted it wherever they were in the story where they remembered it, leaving the reader bewildered. SK has never done this to me!
I like to think it will be one big asteroid and it will completely wipe out mankind in a matter of seconds.Hi - too bad about your phone - I cannot trust mine either.
That was a good comment - I wonder sometimes if that is how our world will end - from us poisoning the earth. It sure looked like it in the 70s before people became more environmentally conscious.
I was probably the one who analyzed it to death.
Nope, never--I luvs y'all!Thank you for letting us know what happened. I was neurotic enough to think I had done something wrong.
Nope, never--I luvs y'all!
You can never analyze a story too much!I was probably the one who analyzed it to death.
Nope - just right Hon.I was probably the one who analyzed it to death.
Have you seen the video of "You Know They Got a Hell of a Band"? It is quite good and you can find it on YouTube (but it is about 40 minutes long). You can never analyze a story too much!
I'll probably have a good deal to say come "Dedication" and "You Know They Got A Hell Of A Band" time....
Are you talking about the episode from the Nightmares & Dreamscapes TV series? If so, yes! One of my very favorites!Have you seen the video of "You Know They Got a Hell of a Band"? It is quite good and you can find it on YouTube (but it is about 40 minutes long).
Nighty night-and thanks so much again for the gift of a SK book club!night

Or Perhaps the middle of the planet will explode and we will be burnt in molten lava. Either way, we are done in a flash.
YEAH!Nighty night-and thanks so much again for the gift of a SK book club!
I am wracking my brain to remember what other stories had many wasps...Was it Dr. Sleep?
Comments always welcomed and appreciated. Feel free to read ahead if you'd like and post your thoughts in 'Suffer The Little Children' section. That way, you will be ahead of the curve. I am excited about it and will get started on it this afternoon.Hey, I am sorry for adding my comments pretty late.
I agree with what is said above. I couldn't quote all the statements i wanted to quote.
In the notes at the end of the book it's said that SKs brother Dave was kind of the inspiration for Bobby it's in the section of Dolans Cadillac. Dave King helped his brother with the technical problems which needed to be solved for DC. DK must pretty smart too.
It was also the first time I noticed the arg-sodiums.
And I really liked Nessys quote to point out that there was hope in the end of the story.
