Got my results from the biopsy on my throat. The news could be better but not horrible either.I have a reflux disorder called Gerd and I have Gastritis in the stomach area.

Did you get some meds? Last spring I just knew I had a tumor in my throat - turned out to be reflux. I take something for it daily and what a difference. I'm such a drama queen sometimes, I just knew I was dying.

How do they even do a biopsy? I don't know what they will do to me.
Will it hurt? Did yours hurt, kff?
So your doctor prescribed something?

I've had a few done. You previously mentioned that the doctor said they might have to do a D&C.....that's how they do the biopsy.

When I was in the ob/gyn's office I was royally po'd.
pms non-stop for 6 months will do that to you
so, when the doctor said I could schedule at the hospital and insurance would pay, or he could do right now in his office for a small fee, I said "Do it."

No sedation. No pain. Though apparently many women do feel pain. I was "mentally preparing" and said "OK. I'm ready" and he laughed and said he was already finished. For me, it was not much worse then a pap. I got about half way home and got stomach cramps. (Bad time-of-the-month cramps.)

When I needed a second one done, I was less nervous and opted to get it done in his office again.

I hope you don't have to wait to long, and that everything is fine.
