This is a creepy, interesting entry from Germany.
Again, one of my favorite things about these foreign entries is the scenery. The police procedures. The daily life. I find that fascinating.
What I am curious about, this story time shifts from modern day to the past of a group of people. So, we see them as kids. In high school? Which means they would be young. There is a lot of sexuality and nudity in this and I wonder what the German standards (in this particular case) are for showing child nudity and sexual encounters between them?
I'm guessing the actors where all over 18, but just looked younger? Eighteen would be America's standard, but maybe Germany allows nudity and sexuality in children at a younger age in film? These moments in the show made me uncomfortable and I wondered about exploitation and the protection of children. Again, the actors could be of age to do this (whatever that might be in Germany.)
Maybe one of our German natives can speak to this? osnafrank, niro? Anyone else?
