I prefer paperbacks--light and portable. But I have read so many books on my Kindle because I can get them within, like, one minute, and start reading immediately. I have become used to reading on a screen although I never thought I would.
The paperback will be out January 6th for those who are still waiting.I have pretty much the same preference. I got a nook a few month ago, up until then I had about 40 Stephen King paperback novels. While I pick up the other paperbacks I want to complete my collection , I will also purchase e book copies of some of the thicker books; or if I spontaneously decide I need a book ,I don't have, right this second: I will download it to my e book. I also like that I can download a new release such as Revival at 12 AM the release date and then wait until the paperback comes out if I want to add it to my collection. Sigh I have a hardcover Mr. Mercedes because I didn't have my e book when it was released and it hasn't yet been released in a paperback copy.
Me too - collect both hardcover and paperbacks - no E-Books yet though!I prefer to collect hardcovers, but I like paperbacks for reading. Will do E-Book if it is only out in an E-Book.
I like hardbacks, but paper won't upset me. The words are the same. I like e books as well as it's usually cheaper and easier to carry around AND you can shop for them inyou p.j.s
Well, it does now! lolJust thought of something- you know when you buy a movie on bluray and it'll have the dvd version (that's a big 'Huh?' to me right there) and sometimes also will have the digital download version included? How come hardback books don't also come with a digital version, too? Makes you go 'Hmmmmm.....' doesn't it?
