-gus, you are not going t believe this I am in my hospital
bed on here! they have internet!
the surgery took a bit longer because he found that my intestines were like glued to my stomach or something. i will get details tomorrow about all that.

i am feeling quite good. i only feel a little pain in one area.
i was so scared over nothing!
When I got into the operating room, I SAW THE ROBOT! IT WAS VERY COOL LOOKING! sorry about the caps , i am typing with one hand here.
i am so happy about how i feel right now!
I'll let all of you know more tomorrow.
thanks again for caring!
I'm so glad to hear you feel so positive, Peg. Isn't it great to have the internet to use while you're there? Sweetie, you weren't scared of nothing. Not knowing is the scariest thing ever. Once you do know, the scared feeling goes away because you know what you're dealing with and go on from there. Speedy recovery to you!

I get to go home this afternoon.
A doctor just came in, and took my bandages off. I haven't been up walking yet this morning, but I will soon.
I have great praise for the staff here. They let my roomie, and I sleep, and now wake us up to much.
I found out that from a surgery I had 25 years ago, that my bowel was adhered to my stomach. he called it adhesions (sp) so he had to fix that to get to my uterus.
Just had blood taken, so it will soon be breakfast time.
If I ever have to have surgery again, I will not be as scared as I was this time
And, they got all the cancer.
Excellent news Mary. I remember my dad fretting about an operation and after it he said they gave him an injection, told him to count to 10 and before he could get there he woke up and it was all over.

Have a speedy recovery.

I just got home. I am glad to be home! I'm sore, and stiff feeling from the long ride.
I got a big surprise today at the hospital. A lady came in with a Lab/poodle mix dog. She told me they have been visiting the hospital for the last 2 years, and that the dog always looks forward to Thursdays. His name was Bentley, and he was 4 years old. All white, and absolutely beautiful. He put his front paws on my bed for me to pet his feet, and head. After about 3 minutes, he was ready to go to the next patient! What a wonderful thing that dog does! It brightened my day!
