Some cheese on a cracker and beer or coke on the side(Depending on the situation). And then.... Of Course... PIZZA. Garlicbread with some melted cheese on top is great

What the heck is Swedish chicken soup?!? I'm from Sweden so are a little bit curious...Homemade chicken soup. I love all variations of it: chicken soup with rotini pasta, Colombian ajiaco Bogotano, matzoh ball soup, Greek avgolemono, chicken and dumplings, Swedish chicken soup. Good for the soul; good for the heart.

Never heard of before. But then.. I'm not exactly a wizard in the kitchen so it might easily pass me by. But it does sound kind of like a family special. Sounds interesting though. Thanks for the info. You cook potatoes and a red onion in the same pot as the chicken. Remove the chicken, debone it, but before adding the meat back to the pot, you mash up the potatoes in the stock and beat the living hell out of the soup. It becomes creamy/grainy. Then you add the meat and salt, vinegar, a pinch of pepper and a tiny amount of sugar. When you serve it, you sprinkle chopped parsley on top. I learned to make it from my cousins in Landskrona (southern Sweden for those who aren't familiar with the town name).
I'm so sorry....Popcorn but I usually CAN'T eat when I'm blue or depressed. At a funeral OTOH I can't seem to STOP eating. I eat anything that isn't nailed down.
That's why I'm glad that the people at the Grief Recovery Method told me we were programmed to eat when we're dealing with death, and it happened a long time ago. People offer you cookies and food instead of talking about the loss. It's one of the myths of grief. "Eat this and you'll feel better."
You'll feel different. You won't feel better unless you're allowed to talk about the loss.
Incidentally, I got no help at all after my daughter's dad died in Tower 1 by applying the myths of grief to it.
It's the only death in my life in which every single myth of the 6 main ones there are failed me in a major way. Time didn't heal it, bc my last image of him was watching the tower he was in crumbling to the ground. Keeping busy didn't help because there was nowhere you could go that you weren't being constantly reminded that it happened. You couldn't even go to the AIRport without being reminded of it every second.
Nothing helped until I found the Grief Recovery Method by accident and they found Osama bin Laden. Those two things had to happen, or I don't believe I would have ever found a way to go on despite what happened and find ways to be happy in spite of it.

Sausage and gravy buscuits sound really good, actually. Scrambled eggs, hashrounds, bacon, and grits. Breakfast is another weakness of mine.Stuffing swimming in turkey gravy.
Sausage gravy over biscuits.
Creamed chipped beef.
Tortellini in cream sauce.
Loaded fries.
Nachos.
Plain potato chips and ice cream (almost any flavor, but must have a texture to it - nuts/chocolate chips, etc).
Tea with chocolate biscuits.
Wine with cheese and crackers.
I seriously love food.
