I am very happy today because I got my test results from a Cat Scan I did yesterday. I had a spot on my lung and I was so nervous being an ex-smoker and growing up with a family of smokers. Well there are no tumors and it's just an old scar. No follow up even needed. So happy. Have been freaking out for the past week. Made me a little more appreciative of everyone in my life. The "C" word scares the heck out of me.
Very happy for you--fantastic news. :)

I'm happy today because earlier it was a 3-Bev day...Bev Vincent, Beverley Marsh & Bevee-from-the-Levee were the only members online when I checked in...spooky, hey? :)

I'm glad I was one of the three Bevs able to make your day Walter. Here in the UK a "bevvy" is a beer ( short for beverage) so have another three bevs and then you'll have a really happy day!!

I'm happy today because I blocked out three pages of the comic I'm working on (which is a good thing), I found out I have more money in my account than I thought I did, and we bought our Thanksgiving turkey today. I'm an injun and view the history of the holiday with a little disdain, but I'm not the only person in the house. I'll cook a bird for 'em.
An injun, huh? Up here we call them First Nations or Aboriginals and they live on Reserves, not Reservations :joyous:
But since you are one, you can call yourself anything you like!

We have a pow wow every year at the Convention Centre and celebrate Aboriginal Day at The Forks

Yup. Cherokee.
That's a gorgeous photo. I love the dress.

...because we have a kitty in the house...posted a pic in that other thread, Cool & Amazing Things...she's so small! Wife carried her over to me as I walked in...she filled me in oh boy did she...litter this that the other the folk at Walmart talked her into this that the other...we have two boxes...one she is "used to"...the other...she called the lady from the shelter group for advice...almost in a panic, sounds like...anyway, I scratched her under her chin...not much luck there as she wanted down and she's exploring the house right now. My wife has begun calling her "Lily"...and since she's the boss and I'm only the hired he'p...we go with that.

I'm delighted for you. How relieved you must be.

I'm happy because I decided to SOWISA and text an apology to someone I care deeply about, and have hopefully made the first step in regaining a good friendship. We haven't spoken for two-months, mainly due to me being very badly behaved, and I didn't expect a response. The smile on my face when he replied made me realise I haven't smiled properly since we stopped talking. It really is amazing the effect a genuine apology can have on people.
