I'm used to it. It won't be long and then on to the next one who thinks he can handle my high demands.
I'm angry today because there is a CURE FOR CANCER, yet people continue to subject themselves to torturous surgeries and poisonous substances in the name of modern medicine. It breaks my heart. Every so often, I'll get a letter from somebody thanking me for saving their lives, or their child's, or their pet's.. and I tell them I'm not to thank. THEY did the brave thing by choosing this treatment. They saved themselves. Just knowing they're still around to write me is thanks enough. Those letters make it worth looking the way I'm sure I do when I blather about the cure. But it truly breaks my heart to see so many people still subjecting themselves to such torture. Mostly, it makes me FURIOUS that lawmakers purposefully withhold the cure, and information about the cure when they know. They KNOW. And they keep letting people be tortured with substandard "medicine" that's going to kill them.
But there's only so much I can do. I can only tell them it's there. It's up to them to use it or not.

I am angry because I found a young cat in the garage this morning when I went to check on something..it was -24C. The cat was straggering around and, then, fell over on it's side. It is upstairs warmed up now but there are four cats in this house already....two were strays last year this time. I cannot afford this. I put up and ad on Lost n Found....hoping for a reply. People are cruel is all I can figure.

Yep, he seems to be much better....he ate two bowls of catfood and drank much water.
Maybe along with the ad for lost and found, maybe you could ask for pet food donations? A lot of people might be in a position to help that way, but not by taking the cat itself.
He could freeze to death in an hour....we have a bad cold snap here. I put an ad on Kijiji for lost and found...many folks have taken in stray dogs n cats in this city because of the cold....seems like.
He is not gonna starve or freeze to death that is for sure. I have some mackarel for him for later.

Just brushed his fur.....he has had a hard time of it. Looks like his ears had been frostbitten before. He is relaxing more and enjoyed the brushing with a purr. My other cats are sooooooooooo very pissed off at me. Ziggy is under the bed and Twix is on a shelf in the linen closet. They are giving me dirty looks lol.
staro you have such a kind heart. It is so great that you take in these strays.Animals need so much love.
I just bought out some food for the other strays that visit. They seem to have a warm place to rest though.....I am thinking under the neighbours hot tub or in a heated garage. They are pretty feral though. Now everyone is looked after, I have to finish making me swiss steak lol.
Honestly, I will never understand how people can do this to defenceless creatures who just want to show love and be loved! People or animals - we all deserve love and compassion.
Star- that is how it begins. You have your own pets, take in a recuse here and there. I understand. Thank you for giving the care and help this poor critter needed. Your others will adjust in time, if you decide to keep the cat. Donations are a big help, if and when they become available. You are blessed, Star!
