I love Miracle on 34th street.It's a Wonderful Life (1946) and Miracle on 34th Street (1947) are always a must see.
I believe you're remembering the movie "Scrooge". A 1949 version of Christmas Carol which starred Alastair Sim, Michael Hordern and George Cole.I agree with Danie.... the G. C. Scott version of the Christmas Carol will always be a favorite. There was also an old black and white version which was scary as hell.... but I'm at a loss of who was in it.
