I've seen all 3 docs. Fascinating stuff.Paradise Lost ~ A three part series concerning the West Memphis Three and the horrible murders they were accused of. Very informative, and at times bizarre.
I never believed the three teenagers were guilty, and I think it's a shame they were forced to accept an Alford Plea after 20 years to regain their freedom. Personally, I always thought one of the parents was involved. Definitely a story of a horrible crime and a miscarriage of justice.
It has some bits of graphic video and photos of the crime scene......DJ, I don't think you can watch it.
I watched the first part when it came out and I was positive the teen boys did it.
THEN I watched the other docs as they came out and was convinced that it was the one little boy's dad. The one whose hair was found in the knots of the ropes tying the little boys.
And I was even more sure the boys didn't do it when they had a chance to get out on an Alford Plea. They had to admit guilt and they would be released on time served.
They all had to take the Alford Plea or they stayed in jail. Jason was not wanting to take that Alford Plea on a crime they didn't commit. The ONLY reason he agreed to it was to save Damien's life. He was on death row. If he wouldn't have been, Jason would not have accepted the Alford Plea and they would still be in jail. That was the final thing that convinced me they rushed to judgment on some odd teenage boys.
