Here's a question for anyone that wants to answer it:
What's the nicest thing a stranger ever did for you?
Hard to judge what was the nicest.. so many things. Maybe its the area I am from , but I have always believed mankind in general is good.
I have been held by strangers when I've cried, I have been helped when broke down, when one of my dogs died a complete stranger on my football group sent me Dallas Cowboy tickets, ... just so many acts of kindness to count.

When I was working retail, a guy came in that had on the most fantastic polar bear t-shirt. I told him how beautiful it was, and I wished I had one like that. Well, a few hours later, the guy comes back, and hands me the t-shirt! I didn't know him from Adam, but I gave him a huge hug, and thanked him endlessly! I still have that shirt.

On Friday night after the concert, we walked back to the car and my battery was dead.....and I didn't have jumper cables with me.
The girl parked next to us didn't have any either, but she stopped every car that went past us and asked them if they could help us out.
Finally, one guy tried to help, but his battery had been dead that morning, and it wasn't powerful enough to start mine.
A few minutes later two guys in a red Ford truck stopped and asked if we needed help. They started my car for me, and only accepted my sincere thank you and a handshake from my BF as payment.
It made me feel good about people in general.....so many people willing to help a stranger.

The first thing that comes to mind is this one day that I was at the local mall with my best friend. We had stopped by the See's Candies shop so she could get some chocolate, and I was admiring all the truffles in the case at the front. I had no money, and had only gone to the mall for the company; it isn't necessary for me to spend money in order to have a good time.
There was a lady in line behind us, and she asked why I wasn't getting anything. I told her that I was broke, but that it was enough to just smell the good smells and enjoy the one free sample. The lady proceeded to buy me a big bag full of truffles. She refused to take no for an answer, saying she had some extra money from somewhere. (I forget now what her exact explanation was) That was a sweet, random act of kindness that still brings a smile to this day.

Yesterday, all my truffles seemed so far away...........

To Moderator though not technically "a member"

You have said that Mr. King is very nice, down to earth. Does he ever randomly curse during normal office conversations? I can't imagine that he doesn't. Funnies to think of, and you as a young temp there.

Oooh, good question! I second this question!

I think Moderator is a member, right? We don't have to have a member to be one, do we? (I can't believe I went there. In my defense, I'm on migraine drugs...)

Out of Order and DiO'Bolic, are you ready with a song for us, reflecting the answer?
