Can't remember the exact title, but the one by Billy Squire. "Christmas is the time to say I love you."....something like that. I can remember watching the video on MTV back in the early or mid 80's.
(Sorry about the advert at the start.)
...this sweet lady had such warmth and emotion in her voice, that it's not Christmas till I hear her "sing me home"...
and of course..the Charlie Brown theme for Christmas..can listen to this over and over on Christmas eve, reminds me of being a little kid, with my loved parents, and brothers and sisters, watching this and getting excited for Christmas morning..
That's it! You friggin rock Flake! Thanks.
One of the best Christmas songs ever by the fabulous Ronettes!!
Anything by The Ronettes. Also, I'm not sure who sings it and I think it's just called The Christmas. It starts 'chestnuts roasting on an open fire....'
I hope this is the one that you're thinking of. It's one of my favourites too.
Jackson 5 -I heard one their Christmas songs recently-Can't think of the name it was good.
I just love this video!!
The angelic voice of Judy Garland from one of my favourite films 'Meet Me In St Louis'.
Another great beautifully sung Christmas song from the King!!
That is exactly the song I was thinking of. Thank you so much!
