I think this woman was really compasionate. I listened to the story where she said she had rescued pups not weaned from their deceased mum. The other ones took formula via bottle etc, but this one was too weak and was close to dying. If it had been me, what would I have done?
Having naturally breastfed my son for the first 7months, probably would have tried to pump some milk out and dropper fed the pup, but I wasn't there. I do have a bit of an ick factor with this... although surprisingly less with this than Mommies who breastfeed from the breast until their kids are older than three. Full set of teeth, then the child can eat solid food. My opinion.
