With a little bit of luck he might....
...choke on that chocolate. Waste of a good chocolate, I know... but sometimes sacrifices need to be made... for the greater good.

i had a very disturbing dream, i was on the skmb last nite and read something about Justine bieber and metallica. wrote something, then listened to Brucie and went to bed. i was having a lovely dream about a certain female i knew i was throwing water over her - we were walking on the beach, then all ofa sudden "enter sandman" plays in my head except it wasn't Enter Sandman it was Enter Justin and lars ulrich introduced Justin Bieber who came out in spandex and james and justin started to sing 'One'. i don't think i will ever sleep again i am very disturbed.

Without boring you guys with the other parts of the dream, because it was all long and complex and really strange, and I don't remember more than 20% of it anyway, but it was ending up with me in this city park-ish area, and some big plane comes through, like a B-25 but more massive, inches from the ground and actually on one wing, and I'm going, "Cool! There's a big plane demo coming through!" And then that's followed by a triplane, WWI Fokker-style, except it's as big as a freakin' C-130, big and black and complex, and as it passes by, I see that although I saw three wings on its left coming across, it has just two wings on the right side, and I'm going, "Huh." Then sometime else comes through, then a big locomotive through the center of town.

So. My question is, why do we dream this stuff, things that don't exist, in defined features and surface articulations, windows on the building, leaves on the trees, in places and scenes and things that are not lodged in real memory? Why do we make that stuff up in such sharp and realisitic detail?

I think it is our subconsicous working everything we use with our senses becomes lodged in our subconscious and when we are dreaming, our subconscious works in retrospect regarding events that have taken place. Just a guess

Weird stuff: everyone was crying everywhere I went, except my husband, but he fell down some stairs and was bleeding from his ears. Troubling sleep last night. I deserve it. I did a bad, bad thing. Maybe it was everyone crying because of their disappointment in me. And my husband was traumatized by it even. Oh woe is me!

I woke up at 4:30 a.m. and could not get back to sleep. I do not recall my dreams, though.

I'm soooo sorry. I know when I dream of pain and sorrow, it's usually some symbolism for the bad things going on in my life. Good people make mistakes, even with the best intentions. I hope it all works out for you.

Here's hoping - and thanks for your kind words. We've been married nearly 23 years, I like to think I'm worth the trouble, but you just never know.

There have been times I've dreamed about driving and losing the brakes... And there have times I've actually been driving and lost the brakes. When that happens, I say to myself: 'Come on, give me a break!'.

Whoah there! You have a silly dream about people crying everywhere and it is automatically an omen. Oh no you don't! ;)

Seriously - maybe you got a bad glass of wine and that is all. Did you eat after midnight? ;;D (Let's see if I can come up with some other old wives tales here...) - Nope that is all I have. If Mom were alive she would be able to tell you what it meant. She had a saying for everything, being a superstitious person from Glasgow.

Anyway - Happy Easter weekend HollyGolightly - I hope the rest of your weekend improves from here on out!
