The creator of what? The show or the comic?

Nope. He objected when they decided that once the show moved to the prison, it would have to have 50% of the scenes indoors (indoors on a set is cheaper than shooting outdoors). Thy also were making double the episodes with the same budget, and he didn't like that either.

I like Darabont, and I get his concerns, actually.

No I have not. Nor do I plan to.

It appears both the comics and the show are missing the same thing that the writer, for which this forum was created, himself wrote about in my most favorite bit of writing from him:

"Remember Red, hope is a good thing, maybe the best of things, and no good ever dies'

I have found something else. Not really the same type of show but much more fun - Sleepy Hollow. John Noble rules.

I feel badly for Frank, but also realize that sometimes directors have other directions.

Isn't that a fun show? I thought it would be awful, but it's my favorite newbie from this year :) ALMOST HUMAN turned out to be pretty darned good, too (after the first half of the first episode--I almost gave up right before it caught its stride)

Yes it's fun too but I hope it becomes more serialized and explore Dorian's background more too.

You can have the action figure... and I'll take the original.

Well, I think that Santa might have an easier go delivering the action figure. LOL

:biggrin2: Well now if the big red guy can fit down our chimney, I'm going to hope he can use a little of that same magic to fit Daryl into his big red bag. :p

I finished the marathon at 5 am this morning. I did not see them all in the marathon-but it was good finish:)

I'm just jumping into this thread, haven't read anything before this. I was curious what some may think of this idea, or if this has already been done in the comic books (or anywhere else for that matter).

Has there ever been a storyline where a corpse doesn't wake up and start eating people? Perhaps this corpse is worshipped by a group of zealots and the government tries to get at it so it can be researched? If this hasn't been done before, might make for a cool short story. I would like to take a stab at writing something like this, but I fear it probably has already been thought of.

I haven't seen anything like that, and I've been reading the comics for years :)

The new poster is out for Walking Dead season 4 part two-It shows Rick and Carl walking on the rail road tracks. Also, I think that Carl has his gun on the wrong hip.

It's fun to look for easter eggs in promo posters--there are almost always 'tells' for the next season (or half-season, in this case). We started all over from the beginning during this hiatus, and it's really clear how the show lost focus when Darabont left. Much better once Gimple took over this season. Had no idea that a showrunner could make such a difference!
