Me too. But then of course, there it was with an arrow sticking out of its head. Should have known. This is Daryl we're talking about.

They needed to fight because it was the midseason finale. But they could also have left, let the Gov's party in, and taken the prison back by stealth. Daryl's a hunter, and he knows the prison a lot better than the Gov does. He could have picked 'em off one by one.

And I think Carl should have taken the shot and ended it right there.
I highly doubt that the good ole Governor was going to let it all happen without bloodshed to begin with, although I do think he was overjoyed to see the defeated look on Rick's face. That may have been enough for him until Rick and the rest were on the road and then the sick bastard would have gone after them.

If Carl had taken the shot, then he would have been the one who started it and thus responsible for the fight that ensued. I'm glad he listened and did as he was told this time. =) How much more could Rick have done than to say "hey we can share the prison"? I just hope that Gov is finally, truly dead. If he's not I'm gonna be like - no way he could have survived that!

WHY????

Do not read this if you haven't read the comics or if you don't want to know.

I think Judith SHOULD be dead. That's how it goes in the books and it's HONEST. That's why I love the show. Come on - kill the baby.
The kid died in Cugo, too, but they let him live in the movie. I'm serious. If they do that, I'm outta there.

OK, talking with my sister today, she is behind three episodes of WD. I know, I know how could she be? I dunno, I gave up tryin' to 'splain her long ago.
So she has just viewed the flu episode in the cell block and she asked me if she had missed the segment where someone found a prosthesis for Herschel? How come she wanted to know was he able to get around like he did.

Anyone know?

Like Lepplady said, It's a prosthetic leg that was conveniently found on one of their supply runs.

I knew Hershel would be getting a prosthetic leg only because I watch The Talking Dead. There was like a 6 month gap between Season 3 and Season 4 in which Hershel started a garden in the prison yard and acquired a prosthetic leg. His new leg wasn't even mentioned until (I think) the S4-2nd ep and it was only mentioned in passing that Daryl had found it on a run. (I don't remember exactly what was said.)

I don't think there is an "unlike" any more. It would just remove your name from the list of people who like the post.

Thank you :) I was feeling really bad about hitting the wrong button lol

I gots to admit something... I'm feeling guilty about coming to the SKMB to discuss The Walking Dead and Survivor :( I said pretty much all I had to say about SK's stories on the old board. Until SK's next book comes out, I won't have anything new to say :( I'm still rereading Duma Key... maybe when I finish, I'll think of something new to post :)

I just wanna say

The episode this song was in was my favorite episode this season (besides the phenomenal mid-season finale) and Herschel was just a freakin' hero. <3 I think that song, 'Oats in the Water' fit the scene with Herschel perfectly.
R.I.P. Herschel <='(
Internment really was a phenomenal episode and Oats on the Water perfectly depicted Hershel's mood. I love the song... It's old Pink Floyd depressive. Thanks for posting the clip :)

I also liked Interment because it was the episode in which the governor returned. I'm beginning to wonder if I should worry about my attraction to the governor lol

Hey! Would it be possible for Jordan to automatically put all posts on the SK boards and posts on Other TV in spoiler brackets? And have an Open All Spoilers button for those of us who wish to view spoilers? That would make it easier for the monitors and those of us who hate spoiler tags :)

I have been completely obsessed with that song!
