This past Friday a group of 10 people won 57,3 million € the lottery game named Eurojackpot here
in Finland. Some of the other EU countries are involved in the same game. This time the win
came to Finland.

After I heard about it, i started to think 57 million what would I do if I won so much money (and keep in mind this went to a group of 10 people so they shared the profits).First I would pay off all loans then I definitely would reserve a FL trip. Then I would donate some of the money to poor countries and to people which has gone through a natural disaster as the Philippines, that's a good deed. Then I would save rest of the money.

OK if you win the lottery what would you do with all the money??

Well, I would pay off all my bills.
I would buy a new house -- small, reasonable, but new and very nice.
All new vehicles for my family.
I would give my family members money.
I have certain friends that I would give money.
I would do a number of charitable things involving my library and animal shelters.
I would save enough to hopefully get me through the rest of my life.
I would leave everything I have to my kids.

Do what needs to be done around the house, pay off the mortgage, newer cars, fund kids' education, trip to Scotland & Ireland, and judiciously parcel out the rest until I died.

I'm not too exciting--lol. I like to have fun, but have been short on $ so many times that I'd want to take care of the basics before any loose spending. The lessons life teaches you, right?

After picking myself up off of the floor, I would pay off all my bills and family's bills and buy a house with servants and a personal doctor/nursing staff for my Mom. Then I would pay Stephen King $10,000,000 (say it in your best Dr. Evil voice) to write me a book! (I know he needs the money!!!!) Then invest the leftovers and live just off of the interest.

Set myself up comfortably (not extravagant) for the rest of my life, and set some aside (but not much) for the kids and grandkids, as I feel they still need to achieve. And if there would be anything left I would split it going to charities of my choice, and becoming a mini version of the Koch brothers in state and local matters. ;)

Pay off daughter debts.
Buy daughter a new car, maybe one for me too.
Refurbish the house and build additions to accommodate many more critters. Do up an outside protected area (from wildlife and weather) for the rescues. Make it tropical storm safe so no evac are needed.
Build myself a small log cabin on my other 5A- and rescue a dog to be a companion.
Donate to no kill rescues.
Bring a special friend to America for a long visit.
Have a savings account for future use- end the worry of making a ck last till the next one.
Hear the music play................

We could join forces if we both won: I've been known to say that I'd like a ranch the size of South Dakota, and I'd fill it with kids and pets that are neglected/unloved. I have such a soft spot for all of them

Pay off the house.
Pay off the kids' houses.
Pay off the kids' student loans.
Provide for the grandkids' education.
Make sure everyone was up on health and dental.
Get us a couple vehicles that we'd like, nice, not extravagant.
Fund the retirement.
Travel with Grandma.

That's if I won, say, a few million. If it was one of the horrendous jackpots with the government pooled lotteries in the States, say, tens or hundreds of millions, we'd talk with some other philanthropic organizations to set up education/job opportunities for disadvantaged kids and struggling adults. Hey, Grandma's a dreamer.

I would pay off our house and then go shopping for a new one, or maybe have my "dream house" built. I like my house, but we had 2 kids when we bought it, 3 and 4 came after and it is just too small. (Even though kid #1 is out on his own now, just too small. Would be perfect for his little family though, so I would give this house to them.)

College funds all around. Then just put it up, dole it out to good causes now and again.

I fear I would spend a lot of time trying to get hubby to keep his job. He talks of these kinds of dreams once in a while, and how he would quit his job, but I fear there isn't enough hunting/fishing/camping to keep him truly happy. He needs to feel productive or he isn't a happy man. He argues that with me though. I doubt we'll ever have the chance to see who is right, though. ;) ;-D

This is exactly what I would do. I did win $49 in the lottery last week. A paltry sum, I know, but definitely a step in the right direction. :smile2:
