Started this book immediately after I recently finished Eyes of the Dragon...couldn’t help but see this connection instantly:
Jack is in the Territories and hitches a ride to a small market town. There in one of the market stalls is a man with a two-headed, joke-cracking parrot. The man has a patch over one eye....
At the end of Eyes of the Dragon Flagg gets an arrow to the eye before escaping Delian...
The one-eyed man from Talisman does not necessarily exude Flagg-like characteristics so it’s maybe not him? Or maybe just not a slap-in-the-face cameo, but more of a true Easter egg for true fans?? Either way it was a joy to make the connection, which are one of many joys found in King’s work.
Half way through Talisman now and am stoked!
