Synopsis:
Writer Bobbi Anderson (Marg Helgenberger) becomes obsessed with digging up something she’s found buried in the woods near her home. With the help of her friend, Jim Gardener (Jimmy Smits), she uncovers an alien spaceship. Though exposure to the Tommyknockers who piloted the alien craft has detrimental effects on residents’ health, the people of Haven develop a talent for creating innovative devices under its increasingly malignant influence.

We had to get a new VCR to watch this movie!!! We got the VHS from Goodwill and it was so shaky that it wasn't even funny. When we played it on the new VCR, it played crystal clear. This movie was also pretty dang awesome (every Stephen King thing is dang awesome... jeez, I hope I don't sound like a stalker).

This movie is horrible compared to the book. I can't believe stephen king would approve of this movie.

I think this movie could use a remake, it was good to begin with, but I think it could shoot through the roof with the digital technology we can place in a movie. Not to say we should make the aliens CGI (the ultimate sin), but CGI would be good to display some of the strange things that do come about.
