Just seen all 8 episodes on Netflix. Great show, Wish King would of gave us at lest 3 more episodes so he could of told us where they went. I thank if they did a remake it would work.

I saw it on tv and the ending was a bad ending his wife died and he was captured and taken away to be tested, a few months later my son rented it from the video store and the ending was different both he and his wife got away and the ending was a happy one.

This was a great movie. I have it recorded on VHS tape. Nobody I speak to (including Stephen King fans) have ever heard of the movie. After I show it to them they all say the same thing. I wish there were more movies like these. Thank you Stephen King

A copy of the completed movie was given to actors and extras that most have never seen. I watched Whiz's copy and I think it is alot better than the aired version.

I really would like to see it again on t.v. or have it on dvd. I very much enjoyed the movie. I love anything Stephen King does he is my favorite author. I have just about all of his books and would like to have Golden Years to add to my collection.

I was 15 when "Golden Years" first aired and I thoroughly enjoyed it. One of the first "must see" programs of my life. Was a shame he never got a chance to resolve the cliffhanger, as the quickie ending on the home video release doesn't really do the show justice. I often wonder if "Insomnia" was related to and/or inspired by the unfinished business with "Golden Years."
