The Langoliers had very believable characters and a very unexpectedly happy ending; Secret Window, Secret Garden was exciting and suspenseful even though I'd already seen the Johnny Depp movie; The Library Policeman was not what I had expected at all, and by far the most sinister piece of writing I have ever read in my life; The Sun Dog, like Pet Sematary, took a while to get exciting, but ultimately, it was well worth reading.
