I just finished "The Road Virus Heads North" and I am finding myself bothered by the fact that the car Stephen refers to is as Pontiac Grand Am. Clearly the car he meant was a Trans Am. It's hard to believe that nobody caught this in the editorial stage. I could not find any documentation that a t-top Grand Am ever existed, while on the other hand it was almost the "piece de resistance" of the Trans Am. I doubt any more publishings of the story wll ever be made, but somehoe this needs to be addressed and corrected . No, I am not a Trans Am freak, but mt older sister did have one when I was younger so I know the car type. More Thoughts » |
