I remember reading this story for the first time when I was 9 or 10 years old at my grandmother's house. I'd found a copy of a book called Shadows, and was reading through it because even at my age, I was already a fan of the horror genre. I half read, half flipped through the book until I reached Nona, and I was hooked. I have been a fan of Stephen King ever since.

Very touching and brutal. A darker version of Romeo and Juliet.

I read it once, then I read it twice and my only thought of this story is: fantastic! It is not that I am a fan of Mr. King's works and all of them are like sweet apple-pie to me, no. "Nona" caught me really strong and did not let go for a long, long time. Now, after almost 10 years since I read it I still remember it, the idea, the feelings inside of it. Maybe I have to read it again to make the remembrence even stronger.
