This little story spawned a t.v. movie, a feature film and 8 sequels, all of which have little to do with the original source material. It has turned into a cult classic of sorts. It's about a religious cult , Nebraska cornfields , a monster and children all under the age of 19. A demented story that should frighten all adults.

ok this was really creepy, it scared me when even It, the Tommyknockers,the ring, the grudge, and all the saw movies didn't scare me

Awful Stephen King tries to make corn seem intimitating fucking corn which can be killed by leaving it out in the field where it rots. Why Children of the corn couln't happen one Adults stronger than children and far more experienced in life two If He Who Walks Behind The Rows(which is a gay name by the way) is evil there must be a good. So simple solution is to go up to corn and say the power of christ compels you. Corn dead.

This storie was really good, movie adap. was ok (SPIOLER) but they let the two main characters live.

In my opinion the story was so much better than the film.. much scarier too. The church scared me so much. I'm amazed with Mr. King's great talent in writing and the way he describes things and places. He makes you feel like you're living in the story.
