Community Thoughts:  Posted By: Paul - August 16th, 2009 8:16:44 pm EDT I have read what I gathered to be a abridged version published in a TV guide just before the shining series was shown. I have read descriptions of the full story from SK encyclopedia's and whatnot, and what I had found in the aforementioned TV guide seemed to only cover a small portion. I keep hoping that one day a version of the shining will be published that will include before the play in its entirety.
