So has anyone found anything out about when the hardcover collection will be released for American Nightmares? Like the Captain Trips Hardcover including issues 1-5?

The comics are a retelling of the original novel but just in a comic book form.

I am so confused! I have been out of the King-dom for several years. Before leaving, though I once wrote to Mr. King and asked when a sequel to "The Stand" may come about. I was told probably never. Now, I see these titles about The Stand and I'm wondering if this is a remake of the original or what? The Stand is my all time favorite having read it EVERY YEAR until the movie was released, including the unabridged edition when it was released. I would hope nothing is being changed. The movie wasn't so hot; in fact my favorite movie was "IT" and 'Salem's Lot was my second.
