Being Australian, I didn't understand a lot of what was said about the games... but that didn't get in the way of me loving the story.

Took me back to my childhood summers of the 60's, playing shortstop, when the ball flew where your eye focused. The best book about the sport that I have ever read; true to form and a real treat for those who really love the game. I gulped this in an afternoon like lemonade on a hot summer day. Thanks for writing it!

read the summary and it hit me right on the face like a baseball . i am really looking forward to reading this novella blockade billy is going to be astonishingly brilliant.

Where to find a greater story then Blockade Billy? Stephen king is a masterpiece!!!!!!!

This book was excellent. I finished it in about 30 minutes and even wanted too read it again.I think this is one of stephen king's greatest works!

This was just a wonderful story. I began to read it last night around midnight with the intention of just reading a little to get a taste and finish it this morning, however once you start in with this story you can't put it down. I devoured this 80 page masterpiece in record time. Mr.King has done it again and once again proves his dominance of the wriiten word and storytelling.

I feel blessed to be alive during the same years as Mr. King and be a part of every one of his stories.He truly is, in my heart, the Most Brilliant Mind Ever in Existance. There are no thoughts that he cannot bring to life, no matter how far fetched, that make you believe in its truths and carry them with you for ever....Previously uninterested in a baseball story, I can't wait to get me hands on this and see what Mr. King has in that beautiful mind of his to tell....
