Under the Dome
  Under the Dome

Inspiration:

The idea for this story had its genesis in an unpublished novel titled The Cannibals which was about apartment dwellers who find themselves trapped in their apartment building.

Junior shook his head slowly back and forth, but his eyes stayed in exactly the same place while he did it - pinned on his father's face. It was a little eerie. 'You don't need to know. I told you that. It's a safe place, and that's enough.' 'So now you're telling me what I need to know.' But he said it without his usual heat.

Just finished reading the book. At first it seemed there were too many characters, but I got used to it. It is a great book, but I sure wish you would keep it non-political. Does the bad guy really have to be a hummer-driving Repulican? I know politically you're a liberal, but please keep politics out of your books.. Other artists (e.g. U2) fight for their causes (e.g. AIDS) without bashing politicians in their work. :)

I finished this last night. What an amazing book! It had me hooked from the very beginning. I was apprehensive when I first began reading it, but it is now one of my favorite books! WTG King!

Amazing book. I'm at the half and I just CAN'T wait to read the rest (need to buy the second part because it's divided in 2 parts in French.) I hope they'll make a TV show about it, that would be awesome!
