From the Flap:

Lisey Debusher Landon lost her husband, Scott, two years ago, after a twenty-five year marriage of the most profound and sometimes frightening intimacy. Scott was an award-winning, bestselling novelist and a very complicated man. Early in their relationship, before they married, Lisey had to learn from him about books and blood and bools. Later, she understood that there was a place Scott went--a place that both terrified and healed him, that could eat him alive or give him the ideas he needed in order to live. Now it's Lisey's turn to fact Scott's demons, Lisey's turn to go to Boo'ya Moon. What begins as a widow's efforts to sort through the papers of her celebrated husband becomes a nearly fatal journey into the darkness he inhabited. Perhaps King's most personal and powerful novel, Lisey's Story is about the wellsprings of creativity, the temptations of madness, and the secret language of love.

I agree with the review that this was a snoozefest. I just cannot get into this book but I loved so many others. This one just did not do it for me.

I'm still plowing through this one. I've read so many great books by Stephen King but with this one he appears to have shaken things up by changing his writing style 360 degrees! I will finish it, but I'm not sucked into the story by any means. I read the JFK book last week and was blown away ~ Kings genius blinded me, but this one... well, it's not me...

I found this hard to get into at first but I was glad I persevered and did not put it down as I found it got much better. I liked the overall wierdness of it and enjoyed the ending

I loved it the first time I read it, and love it still. One of his best.

Sorry, guys...I thought this one was long-winded and silly. I love King but he went to the old standby to get rid of a villain...have a big green monster eat him...I was bored but read through to the end to show respect to a great writer...for me this was not one of his best. I'm glad folks liked it but I didn't...a real snoozefest.
