I really liked this book and look forward to reading book 3. It bothers me that he called Odetta schizophrenic because she is not. She has multiple personality disorder. Schizos don't have different personalities, they have hallucinations. Maybe King just didn't know better back when the book was written but I'd like to see it revised. Maybe it has been and I obtained an old copy. I still love his work and have the utmost respect for him. He has always thoroughly researched his work so for him to mistake schizophrenia for multiple personality disorder was very surprising. Thank you for everything you do Stephen King.

I halfway through my fifteenth read of this book, cliche or not, i don't care i'm gonna say it. Every time I read this series, something new and totally awesome pops up.

Well...if you think you are in a bad situation and on the verge of despair you should see the problems that Roland, the last gunsliger, needs to handle in order to draw the three. I strongly recommend The Dark Tower series, it's a story you won't forget. Long days and pleasant nights my fellow readers.

This book is truly magnificent and continues to push the story of the Dark Tower to new and exciting grounds. This book draws on themes similar to those found in The Talisman but in my opinion, the idea of the "doors" is one that has become uniquely classic. The characters introduced in this book are unforgettable and once again, King manages to twist together realism and fantasy in ways that really throw your mind for a loop.

Just finished this. Amazing novel, especially the last minute plot twist that involved "The Pusher" and the " The Third Woman". Starting The Wastelands tomorrow.

This is the best Dark Tower book in my opinion and in my top 5 King novels. In this book we are introduced to Eddie and Susannah

I loved this just as much as The Gunslinger (and every other King/Bachman book I have ever read)! I especially liked Odetta/Detta. King is a genius!
