I think people get the wrong idea about Sleepwalkers. They judge it by the film and not by the storyline. They think of the make up, the acting etc, but it isn't to do with that, it's the story. Stephen King should of definitely written a short book about it then maybe more people would be interested. Don't get me wrong this is one of my favourite Stephen King films and I know it was one of his first screenplays he made. Amazing piece of work and I am a huge fan of his.

Personally, I like this movie, its a little to gory for my taste but what Tobe Hooper direction isn't. It reminds me of one of his earlier stories in the movie cats eye, just replace the troll with a shape shifting cat creature (zoinks). However what I like most about it is Enya's song at the end. It made it seem like the cats were in a never ending struggle with the Walkers and like ACDC on Maximum overdrive it just shows that King has a great taste in music for his movies.

As an original plot, this metaphysical horror needs to be published from its screenplay. Most authors remain traditional by sustaining safer economic territories where King becomes his own outcast from his notorious sucess.

Dear Stephen King I love this book, and this movie one of my all time favorites.

This is possibly the worst horror movie ever made. The plot is utterly incoherent, the dialogue absurd and the acting wooden (except for Alice Krige, who deserves better).

I'm 99% sure that Stephen King is a shapeshifter . . . and i think he just gave us the secret to victory . . . cats.

It would be great if you would puplish the story as book or release the original screenplay. It was such an interesting story. I would love to know if the movie was exactly what you wanted the story to be?

Stevie's appearance in Sleepwalkers was great. Like every upstate (New York) yokel I've every encountered. It has to be mentioned otherwise his better performance in Creepshow overshadows it.
